How sweet it is to be loved by you

“Mahal na mahal kita, Ella.” Aaaaaw! Sa totoo lang muntik na akong makapagmura. Nasobrahan ako sa kilig nang marinig ko ito eh hehe.

Bakit naman hindi ako kikiligin? Girlfriends, paki-imagine ‘nyo nga kung Merkano ang magsasabi nito. Ang kyuuuuut, grabe! With that California twang? ‘Yung kumukulot sa dulo ng sentence. Aaaaw ulit!

Balik na naman tayo sa lablayp ko, pipol. Magdusa kayo, noh! Happy ako ngayon eh haha! Enweis, nasa kilig mode ang byuti ko these days. Medyo nasira nga lang ng ka-badtripan sa byuti kontes na ‘yan hmp!

Inaamin ko, nalululong na ang Ellababes sa isang porendyer na kamukha ni John Travolta sa Saturday Night Fever. He is effin’ hot! May malalim na dimples pa kaya nanggigigil ako kapag ngumingiti siya. Nabububwisit nga ako at malabo ang cam ng mga laptops eh.

Alam ‘nyo ba kung bakit minsan eh hindi ko na maatupag ang blog ko? Aba eh syempre uunahin ko ang paglalandi kesa sa inyo, noh! LOL

He is so sweet! Sobra. Nilalanggam na ako dito eh. Ikukuwento ko nga sa inyo ang mga sweeteetums niya.

He asked a Filipino friend to teach him how to say “I love you very much” in Tagalog. He learned it fast and surprised me one morning. It was the first thing he said to me that day.

Ako naman si tanga, sabi ko “What? Excuse me?”. Hindi ko kasi naintindihan agad. Akala ko kung anong kalokohan ‘yung sinasabi niya. Alam ‘nyo naman ako, may pagka-paranoid. Baka kako minumura na ako sa ibang language. Emote na emote pa naman siya nyahaha!

Minsan naman nag-uusap kami na may webcam. May napansin akong malaking framed picture sa dinding sa may ulunan ng kama niya. As in humongous ha. Parang kamukha ko yata. Putsa, letrato ko nga! Jeez, I sent him one pic sa email (remember my birthday na naka-purple dress ako?), tapos ginawa agad na higanteng altar sa dinding. May smaller version pa ‘yon sa cellphone niya, no. Hmmm…nakaka-adik nga yata ang byuti ko hehe.

But the sweetest thing he did was to serenade me with an Enrique Iglesias song “Nunca Te Olvidare” (I Will Never Forget You). Yes, guys, in Spanish first, and THEN in English. And he has a beautiful voice. Sabay sisingitan pa ng mga “mahal na mahal kita, Ella” habang kumakanta. Haaaay, kinilig yata pati mga hibla ng buhok ko.

Eto pa. Kapag hindi niya ako mahagilap sa Skype o sa YM, tumatawag sa cellphone ko. Cellphone din ang gamit niya. And we talk for hours! And he does this almost everyday! Can you imagine kung gaano kalaki ang phone bill niya? Grabe sa kaadikan.

Noong minsang makausap niya si Tatay sa phone, ang lakas ng loob ng loko. Nagpakilala muna tapos sabi kay Tatay, “Sir, you’ve been taking care of Ella since she was a baby. Now it’s my turn”. Pati si Tatay napa-aaaaaw!

Yesterday, he asked me to marry him. I said yes. Today, he bought my engagement ring. Come May, I’ll be wearing it on my finger.
