Tapos kanina, pumasok ito sa email ko. Isa na namang basura. Puwedeng “TRAP” o pain katulad ng iba or maybe this “journalist” kuno is trying to trick me into “featuring” her trash dito.
Hindi ko sana babasahin dahil it looked like one of those hate mails I eat for breakfast but “lo and behold”, I found myself reading the most incredibly stupid stinking PR job I have ever seen in my entire life! Parang script sa telesrye. Ito ang sagot ko, assuming ikinalat na ito sa email.
This is what happens when idiots try to think. To call yourself a journalist is not only a shame, it’s an abomination! The “facts” you claim are so outrageous they make me sick.
First off, let me clarify one thing. The government people in your story harassed the WRONG ELLA!
Sa mga taga-gobyerno, kung totoong nangyari nga ito, hindi dahil taga-gobyerno kayo, it GIVES you the right to harass anyone, especially if you are doing it to the WRONG person. I can just imagine how the poor girl felt. Buti hindi nasuka ang kawawang “Ella” sa takot.
Second, ABS CBN or any other station has nothing to do with the issue. Kung nag-isip ka lang kahit konti, di ba dapat napapanood mo na ang mukha ko sa TV araw-araw? Nakita mo na ba ako sa news and interviews sa ABS-CBN kahit minsan? Si Sec Cabral lang ang lagi mong napapanood, di ba?
To reiterate (ad nauseum), ang post sa blog ni Ella ang ginawang “news” story, no interview was granted by me.
Third, there are no political parties involved. HINDI AKO INTERESADO. So don’t even try to use my name sa pamumulitika ninyo.
Finally, a word of advice sa DSWD: whoever is handling your PR, fire him/her immediately. This is the most moronic attempt at saving face.
Here’s a little hint of what you can do - YOUR JOB. If DSWD is the cleanest, most credible, corruption-free government agency, then they should not have a problem proving it. Their good name should help them weather any bad publicity storm that comes their way.
NAG-IISA lang po ang “totoong” Ella nang magtanong nang deretsahan sa inyo. Walang giant TV station sa likod niya, lalo namang walang pulitiko.
Here’s an example of a mangled PR job ng isang oportunista. Sa totoo lang mukha namang mataas ang pinag-aralan ng taong ito, hindi nga lang natutong pumirma para panindigan ang mga tsismis niya. Sana ginamit na lang ang mga natutunan niya sa eskwela sa paggawa ng mga bagay na ikauunlad ng kanyang sarili at ng bansa.

This all started when ELLA ROSE DELOS SANTOS created a blog on her website ellaganda.com that there are allegedly rotting goods in the warehouse of the DSWD in Pasay City. We all know by now that after all the things that have been said and done ELLA has RECANTED and has started CONTRACDICTING all that she has said in her first blog (DONT YOU HAVE A MIRROR AT HOME? YOUR FUCKING UGLY! I BET YOUR MOTHER DROPPED YOU WHEN SHE SAW YOU THE FIRST TIME! YOUR WEBSITE SHOULD BE NAMED ELLANAPAKAPANGET.COM OR ELLANAPAKASINUNGALING.COM
It has been the talk recently under various media outlets that the mastermind of this smear campaign against the DSWD and it’s Secretary, DR. ESPERANZA I. CABRAL is a TV NETWORK GIANT- ABS CBN to be exact. Why? Because of various reasons:
1) the DSWD and its Secretary is the only institution and is the only cabinet member in this Administration that are still credible. Of course there are people out there who wants to ruin and discredit everything that this Administration is doing specially since the 2010 Presidential Elections is just around the corner.
2) Media people are also abuzz with one other angle that since ABS-CBN is strongly supporting the candidacy of NOYNOY AQUINO for President they planned to take advantage of the past 2 typhoons in order to raise funds for NOYNOY’s Presidential candidacy, 1 BILLION PESOS to be EXACT!
But since President Gloria-Macapagal Arroyo has issued an Executive Order stating that only the DSWD and the Philippine National Red Cross can accept Donations TAX FREE, this hurt the fund raising activities of ABS-CBN since possible donors prefer to donate their contributions to these 2 organizations because of the tax free status.
It doesn’t take a genius to analyze this. If you donate 1 peso thru ABS-CBN, that 1 peso will be subject to donors tax meaning the beneficiaries will not get the whole amount of the donations since a tax will be deducted from it. But if donors donate thru DSWD and PNRC their donations will be Tax Free and the beneficiaries will be able to receive their donations in FULL.
During the recent FOCAP forum NOYNOY fared so badly that 4 times during the forum his guide answers to the possible questions that the participants are going to ask fell down in front of the whole foreign media to see.
Because of this his handlers decided to shield him from more Public Forum Appearances, Debates and other events that will affect his popularity among the people who doesn’t really know him but supports him because of the fact that he is the son of NINOY and CORY.
We should demand that all candidates participate in all public fora and debates so that we voters would really know if our candidates whom we want to lead us in the next 6 years has the credentials to really lead the country and just doesn’t posses the popularity that has failed us before.
It has also been said that the Group of ERAP is already in the final stages of negotiations with the Group of NOYNOY. ERAP will “hand over” the support of the masses to NOYNOY in order for him to win the 2010 Presidential Elections in exchange for CABINET positions for some of the loyalists of ERAP and HIMSELF plus a promise of prosecution of the Arroyos’ when he wins.(REMEMBER PEOPLE that the CAMPAIGN MANAGER OF ERAP is his daughter’s HUSBAND- BEAVER LOPEZ)
If that’s the case, for another 6 years our country will be again stuck in this Political Turmoil and in turn would hamper the progress of this country. And also do we think that this country will be able to Prosper and Move forward if 2 DUMB and STUPID leaders are going to lead this country?
Who is ELLA ROSE DELOS SANTOS? She is an employee of the PRESIDENTIAL ANTI GRAFT COMISSION (PAGC). Why would she do such thing since she is also in Government? This is the biggest question.
Being a journalist, we at times get really nosy about things if we feel that something is not right and that is my feeling on this case. So I went to my sources to start to investigate on this issue and lo and behold, the truth started to unravel in front of me so fast that I started to feel disgusted. Here are some of the information I gathered.
The Chairman of PAGC informed ELLA one day that people from the DSWD are visiting their office to get a copy of her PERSONAL DATA SHEET and ask her to execute an AFFIDAVIT stating that she is not the SAME ELLA that is being identified in the blog and ask legal advice from their legal department.
Instead of going to their legal department she went to Commissioner Tess Baltazar. And when the people from the DSWD arrived in their office, ELLA met with them but instead of the lawyers of the PAGC accompanying her it was COMM. BALTAZAR who was acting like her lawyer. It was also noted that ELLA was fidgety and uneasy during the meeting.
Here is the real story why COMM. BALTAZAR was there. She has resigned already with PAGC effective December 1, 2009 to actively campaign for NOYNOY AQUINO’s Presidential Candidacy. One of COMM. BALTAZAR’s Senior Staff is named CECILIA RAMONA D. VALENZUELA known to be the SISTER of CORY VALENZUELA VIDANES (ABS-CBN HEAD for TV PRODUCTION). Their Mother ELENA ORTEGA DAZA- VALENZUELA is the SISTER of COMMISIONER TESS BALTAZAR.
Now its up to you guys to connect the dots in this so called “EXPOSE” and for you to decide whether this is true or just another CONSPIRACY THEORY. But I just would like to remind you that before this incident, the one under fire for distributing relief goods only with SHOWBIZ stars present is ABS-CBN!
PLEASE PASS SO THAT EVERYONE WILL KNOW WHAT THE REAL STORY IS! GOD SAVE OUR COUNTRY IF NOYNOY WINS!

Alam mo, nung unang mabasa ko ito, tawa rin ako nang tawa, nagka-cramps ang tiyan ko, pramis.
Pero na-alarm ako sa fact na kung totoong nangyari ito, talaga palang itinuloy ng DSWD ang balak nilang harassment sa isang mamamayan! MALING mamamayan nga lang, pero mamamayan pa rin.
I know it was announced that they were “contemplating” a libel suit against the blogger. Inumpisahan na pala nila?
Na-realize ko, shet this is serious! An agency of the government bearing down on one CITIZEN, with all that power, money and resources sa kamay nila? Dehado si citizen. Tagilid ang laban.

In journalism or shall we say sa media, there’s a term called “nakuryente”. This is one example of “kuryente”. Kung sino man maniwala dito sa sinasabi ng kumag na to, “kuryente” aabutin nila. Emily is right, baka ploy lang nila ito para lumutang ka and eventually, puts you in a very serious situation. Malay natin, baka wala naman talagang ella rose delos santos na employee ng PAGC.

You know what, Clarence, I expected this kind of reply from some people. Hindi na ako nagugulat. Ano ba sa palagay mo ang ginagawa ko?
At sa pananaw mo, tama ba ang ginawa ng gobyerno? (again assuming these are all true, ok?)
Kung nagkataong ako talaga si “Ella” ng PAGC and you read somewhere that the government swooped down in my office to get their hands on my document shit to the point that I will need legal advice, ito ba ang nasa isip mo:
“Serves you right, Ella delos Santos! Daldal mo kasi eh.”
Eh kaso hindi pala ako ‘yon, no?
Are we missing the point here?
Ok lang ba sa ‘yo yon to serve as WARNING to any citizen who will dare ask questions on how some government officials dispense their duties as public servants? Para madala, ika nga.

It took an “ella” for majority of pinoy to know what goes in in those warehouses each time we have a major disaster and the amount of relief goods that arrived in the country. If private organizations can mobilize hundreds of volunteers to distribute the relief goods and reach the people at the time of dire needs, there is no excuse for the government responsible agency failure to mobilize the needed resources. If Ella is wrong, they have to prove they’re right. As one says in one of those replies, they are the government, they have the resources in their disposal, they have the power. And, if inspite of all these, the services are not delivered to the people who goes with less food day after day while there are huges stockfiles of relief goods in these warehouses so aanhin pa nga ang dami kung drop dead na ang kabayo.
Look people! … lam ko wala akong kakampi dito and bout what you did blog owner i think it’s for good to let people know that there is magic happens in DSWD, pero i am much concern to my friend situation right now kasi the blog owner here is same as my friend’s name who actually working in PAGC, di ko alam kung galit ka sa friend ko na i think kilala mo din sya para gawin lang to!, at isabit yung name nya, (cguro naman hindi diba!?) and i know may iba ka rin plan to voice out your problem and let other people know the happenings in DSWD not to destroy other people identity, look all i want you to do is put a simple disclaimer tags in the foot area of your blog stating that Ms. Ella delos Santos who appears as the same name as you are… is a different person and had no idea, no concern, or no responsibility on the said particular post blog about DSWD .. and that’s it Ms. blog owner … thank you! - Clarence

Cool ka lang, Clarence. Walang kampihan dito. I don’t personally know Ella. I did not do it to her (whatever you mean by “gawin ito”).
Is your friend Ella being harassed by some employees of DSWD? Binaboy na ba ang pagkatao niya? Tinawag ba siya ng bayarangella o buloknaella, etc?
Nakatanggap na ba siya ng threats sa email niya? Natatakot ka bang mangyari sa kanya ang dinadanas ko at dadanasin pa? Are you afraid for her life?
Hmmm…dapat ba ako rin matakot na some characters are out there to harm me?
Kung “yes” ang sagot mo sa lahat ng tanong ko, I’ll do what I have to do to protect her. Salamat din.
Maybe you too has a responsibility ELLA, that of not putting somebody else’s lyf in jeopardy because of what you are doing. I salute you in coming out with these expose’ but what is an expose’ if the whistle blower doesn’t have integrity or cannot be validated? or probably too afraid to show his/her identity? Pls don’t let this happen, that wrong ella will suffer because of your deeds, that is not fair.

I understand where you are coming from if this other Ella (from PAGC) is your friend. I am pretty sure it is a big confusion and a lot of stress, not only on her part but also on her family when this news of the blog came out.
But I saw the video clip from the news. It is Ella’s face from this blog that was plastered on tv and not your friend. Whoever went to investigate Ella did not do their job because they ended with the wrong one.
Why are you blaming all these on her? Do seriously think that after all the name calling, the hurtful words and accusations they hurled to her, she wanted your friend be dragged into this mess? She saw what she saw. She told it as it is. People who are involved in that issue maybe were guilty of such lack sense of urgency to get those goods where they should go hence they were offended by the article.
Look, I do not believe she meant to blanket the whole DSWD agency with this problem of lack of mobilization for these goods. She was merely calling the attention of the head of the dept. to get to it. But, because of high stress level maybe..or for other reasons, people just kept a narrow, one sided insight of things. People’s opinion were divided between believing the article and not believing what Ella wrote and started calling her hurtful things…and as I’ve said, the rest is history.
Now, instead of moving on and for Sec. Cabral to just issue an official statement, close the issue and get into action, she has to appear to the media and defend herself so her image will still be good and make Ella the culprit and now tries to investigate/look for her and got the wrong Ella. It just so happen there are two Ellas which created another problem.
If truly, a person is doing a good job and is wholeheartedly wanted to just help, you don’t need praises and “feel good” words from others. Just do your job and go on despite what other people will say because in your heart you know you are doing the right thing. But, no. In this case, it didn’t happen. Sec. Cabral has to have the final say and here we go again…
PS..to Clarence: Can your friend Ella just sign that affidavit stating that she doesn’t own this blog and has no relationship to the Ella who owns Ellaganda.com? Really, if I were the other Ella, that’s all I need to do and just see this whole situation as glass half full. My friend Ella is the one getting the nasty comments, threats and has the life turned upside down by this whole situation. I don’t think she wants to drag another Ella on this. I think the readers/friends of Ella will agree with me on this. Heck, we can only handle one Ella..this Ella on Ellaganda.

Sana naman nag investigate nang mabuti yung nagsulat nung post about finding Ella from PAGC. Nakakahiya kasi na nagsulat ka ng post supposedly to inform people tapos mali naman pala ang mga facts mo. I don’t think Ella the blogger is to be blamed for what is happening to Ella from PAGC. Ang sa akin, ang dapat sisihin sa nangyari kay Ella delos Santos ng PAGC ay yung mga tao na nag-coconclude na hindi man lang inaalam muna kung totoo ba yung information nila. Hindi yun fault ni Ellaganda. Ang consequences ng action nya ay yung mga name callings at threats na natatanggap nya ngayon not the harassment that Ella delos Santos is going thru right now.
Natatawa din lang ako dun sa post kasi kung kilala mo at nakakausap mo yung Ella the blogger, alam mong walang katotohanan yung mga connect the dots nila.

@Emily - I am not blaming ella on what she did (exposed), I’m just stating the fact that she is putting the blame on others, as if she doesn’t care what that other person feels. If she has the guts to expose the problem, how come she can’t face it! why? Baka ba pag nakilala na kung sino talaga sya eh di sya paniwalaan? Why can’t she be like Jun Lozada who put a face and fight? Who knows, she might even have her place in our history!

Please, you should hear yourself talk. I put the blame on others? Pakibasa lang ulit yung post sa itaas. Yung bold and orange at yung #1.
Ikaw na lang ang mag-go down in history. Wala akong panahon, wala akong hangad. Do not compare me to Jun Lozada. It’s not flattering at all. And I did not put a gun to your head para paniwalaan mo ako. Matanda ka na. You know what to believe or what to treat as lies. I’m not here to please you.
