Caught in the act

Vox populi, vox dei. My post “Aanhin pa ang kabayo…” will be in the archives of this blog with all the legitimate comments included. Let it be known that I never pulled the post down and did not change or delete one word.
I apologize to those who gave valid criticisms and suggestions in this blog and to those who aired grievances. When I closed the comment box, I also silenced your voice. It was necessary. I needed the time to study the contents of the comment box. It was not easy, there were more than a thousand of them.
The comment box turned into an ugly circus because of a well thought out diversionary tactic.
Kailangan kong isa-isahin ang comments to weed them out and then isolate. As I said again and again, I need not delete any comment. I just disapprove them. All reactions to the controversial post, good and bad, are still inside this blog. Ilalabas ko ulit ang mga comments ‘nyo.
What is trolling?
Internet trolling - Posting derogatory messages about sensitive subjects on newsgroups and chat rooms to bait users into responding. It also means “laying waste” and can also be used to refer to simple spamming.
All info copy/pasted from comment manage page. They are also in the site’s database. Notice the IP addresses.

COFFEEADDICT as coffeeaddict posted 27 comments in the comment box. Exactly like SPAM.
Her other aliases like Catwizkers, Nikita, Flex and God knows what else posted some more.
Coffeeaddict and all your clones, were you not properly oriented with the use of the internet? You used the same connection, same server and same terminal where your boss sent her reply to this blog. Wala ba kayong ibang pc? Iisa lang ba ‘yan?
Therefore, Coffeeaddict a.k.a Terry Celestial of DSWD, assuming that is your name, don’t you think you deserve a demerit? Hiniya mo ang opisina mo.
As a public servant, nasa job description mo ba ang trolling? Aren’t you supposed to take care of the social welfare of the Filipino People? I have a right to ask because I am a taxpayer.
O accusations na naman ba ito? Nagtatanong lang.
For my commenters, I will open the comment box soon. After some unscrupulous IP addresses are blacklisted, of course.
What is an IP address?
- “IP addresses or Internet Protocol addresses are the way in which computers on a network both communicate with each other and know where they all are in relation to one another.”
“As soon as a computer is connected to the Internet it needs to be given a registered IP address (which is generally called an Internet address).”
“When you put up a Web page, the server hosting it has to have what is called a static IP. This is an IP address that doesn’t change when you login.”

Hello passerby,
Whoa! Mahahanap pala ‘no? Thanks for the heads up. Nakakatuwa, daming detalye.
Pag-aaralan ko nga ito. Parang interesado ako sa IP latitude and longtitude eh. Mapa na ang dating nito. Pare-pareho kasi kahit iba ang IP address. Thanks ulit for these info, passerby.
Oh ayan eh di buking na buking…hehehe
Before we all get carried away with the IP address thing, a local area network (LAN) of several computers access the internet through a router with a single IP address. It’s like a whole apartment building has one address but has many tenants. It is logical to assume that there are several computers in Cabral’s office accessing the ‘net through a single router. Even if the office has only one computer, it is conceivable that several employees could take turns using the single computer. If someone desperately want to appear as several persons on the ‘net, it is as easy as logging-in at different Starbucks locations with a laptop, or going to different internat cafes.

Hi Berto,
Thank you for explaining the “IP address” thing further. I don’t think naman magkakaroon ng ruckus about that.
I’m not an expert either sa networking but what little knowledge I have is based on my own network system at home. I have several workstations, desktops and laptops, using Wireless Network Connection.
All my workstations have the same default gateway (DHCP Server). My wireless router assigns an individual IP with DIFFERENT LAST 2 DIGITS for each workstation to avoid signal overlapping.
Can I therefore safely conclude that the comments written by purportedly different authors were sent from one workstation?
If that’s the case as shown by the single IP addy above, I will not call it a workstation. Personal computer lang siya with a single connection.
sinag araw Reply:

Berto is right ella. You don’t really see their local IP. I think ang pwedeng makagawa nun e yung Internet Provider.
You were right too dun sa wireless router mo sa bahay nyo but still ang internet ip mo na nakikita sa labas ay iisa.
To further illustrate my point since more than one ang workstation sa bahay nyo at naka connect lahat sa router, try every workstation and go to this website… http://www.whatismyip.com
If I’m not mistaken pare-pareho kayo ng ip add na ginagamit. There is still more to it, if I don’t want to be identified I can use anonymous software freely downloaded in the web. But that’s just me.
Any way thanks for blogging their shit! Mabuhay ka

Hi sinag araw.
Thanks for explaining.
Each nick with the same exact IP addy can be an individual person at hindi niya clone?
The point is all those comments came from one local network or building or office or whatever
Ano ‘yun DEMOLITION TEAM?
Jeez, that’s even worse.

we have to admit, this girl knows what she’s talking about.
shame on u people who wants to rob these poor victims. nakakaawa na nga, lalo pang kinakawawa.
how can u sleep peacefully in the evening when u know these people are suffering - without beds to sleep on, nor a shelter to keep them warm.
Proverbs 22:16 He who oppresses the poor to increase his riches, And he who gives to the rich, will surely come to poverty.
Ezekiel 22:31 Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord GOD.
O ayan, matakot kayo!
Well, yes - actually, it may _partly_ be true.
You see — the lines here in the philippines are accessed by Bulk - an IP address alone cannot be owned solely for one person .. Coz if that’s the case - then we limit ourselves to only 254.254.254.254 users — and some IP addressess are limited / strictly-assigned to something else (example 0.0.0.0).
So, some users (though they may be of different location) may have -closely- associated IP address on several points (probably the first 2 or 3 masks refering to the : X.X.X.0). This is common if, like a subdivision or a village, all are under the same ISP ’s IP range control like PLDT or something else.
I mean, with wireless broadband - anyone can switch IP addresses and stuff. So, it _may_ be embarrassing to point out and accuse people directly just because their IP address are relatively close.
In simple terms : Just because you and I have a cell number that starts with 0917 (under Globe) — doesn’t mean we know each other, right?

Hi Dminotaur,
“So, it _may_ be embarrassing to point out and accuse people directly just because their IP address are relatively close”.
Did you examine the IP addresses I posted? They are EXACTLY the same, from the first to the last digit. Not relatively close, dear, exactly the same..
And who’s accusing who…of what?
That’s why it’s called an address, parang bahay din yan, di ba?
Pucha, giyera mundial hehe
At saka ang dali namang magtago, di ba? IP switcher lang ang katapat niyan.
Thanks for the comment, dear.
It’s funny how the DSWD employees waste their time in trolling in your blog. They have nothing else to do eh? If your blog posts are just mere lies, they should move on. They are adults already and they should act one. Duh?
And the funny thing is… It’s on the news, at DZMM, that the donations for the typhoon victims ages ago from DSWD are sooo delayed. It’s almost a month delayed already?
Hi ella,
it’s just so funny how these people are trying to find ways to get away and sugar coat their misdeeds, no?
don’t worry, you aren’t alone. just keep the good fight going.

Sila pa rin ang nag-trap sa mga sarili nila by doing so, pinatutunayan lang nila how inefficient they are. But the point is, tax payers pay the government so the government can have computers and internet connection.
how sure are we that you didnt just put those IP adds to make DSWD look bad? why dont you post all the IP addresses that commented on your blog?are you discriminating or what?or your really just out to make DSWD look bad? are you being paid by some1 to do this?i hope you did what other bloggers did when they realized what really was important was helping the victims of the calamity and not some irresponsible comments that created this mess. a meeting with the officials of the DSWD would have enlightened your views on things. i really do hope your happy with the publicity that you are getting.enjoy it while it lasts. and i hope karma happens to you and not to your children and your family.

This is the kind of crap I hate to see in my comment box.
“why dont you post all the IP addresses that commented on your blog?”
Ok, that’s what you want, I’ll start with you.
From wordpress dashboard which you can also retrieve from the site’s database if you so desire. If you have no idea what a database is, may problema.
From my web tracker. Now, try to keep up ok? Obvious, di ba, I cannot mess with this one.

Hay naku Ella don’t mind this *ssholes! More power and please continue what you’re doing
huli kayo!!!!
Hehehe buking,

Okay - Here’s the technical part :
In a Village — where most of them use the same ISP — they may all go to the same IP trunk link / lease line, because the ISP may not want to invest 1 IP for every home as this is costly. The IP address may become identical due to Router distribution and IP-address lists on such machines. That’s why they lease sole IP address to big business like Call Centers - to avoid anyone from joining on the same IP address, but that’s astronomically expensive.
So, If ISP Brand X can only use IP Address range (in a worldly measurement) of 192.168.1.1 up to 192.168.256.256 — does that limit them to (more or less) 256,256 customers? No, they split these IP addresses into trunks where people can share connections.
But that’s just too much technical BS :
Point is - Just because someone is on the same Bus as someone else does not entirely mean that they know each other, right?
Although, figuratively - it is mighty scary that their IP Address are the same, perhaps they do know each other (like on the same building or stuff).
One thing we can be sure of is the source of all the negative comments: Cabral’s office. The defensive tone and the vicious counter accusations also imply guilt, as in “tinamaan ng bato-bato sa langit …” A hardworking DWSD employee would feel hurt by a false accusation but would remain civil.
E kaya naman pala eh. May libro na ipopromote.
Are you going to ban my IP and email?

The one you are talking about at the top of my posts has been there for more than a year 24/7. Always. Nawala siya for 3 weeks because it is a PLUGIN. I disabled plugins, remember?
Madaming nagtatanong sa akin kung saan mabibili ang libro ko so instead of answering them every time, I posted a permanent announcement…MORE THAN A YEAR AGO.
And also I’ve been blogging for FOUR years.
Really, I get all kinds in the comment box, unbelievable. Haaay
If it bothers you that much, sige tatanggalin ko for you
